FAQ ~ Holly Cosmetics Retail Store Q.  Do you need an appointment for a makeover? A.  Yes, to insure quality time (one to one-and-a-half-hours) with me. Q.  Do you need an appointment to look at hair prostheses (wigs)? A.  Yes. That is the only way we can guarantee you a private and noninterupted appointment. While I am with you, Ray comes in to cover the phone and the cosmetic counter. Q.  Do your appointments obligate me to making a purchase? A.  Absolutely not - it just guarantees you time with me.  I write down everything I use on your face chart (for makeovers) or a quote form (for hair prostheses). You will leave with a copy of that form and I will keep one in your file for future reference. Q.  My doctor gave me a prescription for a medical hair prostheses and said insurance would pay for my purchase.  Will you process my insurance claim? A.  No. Very few insurance companies will pay for a hair prostheses and I do not have the staff to deal with all the red-tape that is involved in accepting assignment.  The way we work is as follows; You make your selection and pay for it the day day it is ordered. We call you when it comes into the store and schedule an appointment for pickup and styling. After we know you are going to accept the hair prostheses, we write you a receipt with the insurance CPT Code on it.  You send the receipt into your insurance company (along with your prescription). If your insurance company does pay for the prosthesis, the payment will be mailed from them directly to you. Q.   I do not have the funds to pay for a wig, is there any way you can help me? A.  Yes - call me and I will give you a list of local agencies that will help you. Last Update
