afterA personal note from Holly... After a long year of uncertainty as to the state of the cosmetics and hair industries, fate stepped in and made a business decision for us.

For over a year now, Ray and I have struggled with the concept of continuing our retail operation in Louisville, KY. We have been concerned about eh changing landscape of life, the cosmetic and hair industries, product availability and quality. Cosmetics labs are closing each month. The ones that haven't closed are discontinuing products at an alarming rate and replacing them with more expensive and not necessarily better quality products. We have maintained our current pricing structure, but it has not been easy.

On July 6th., fate took over and delivered the answer we had been searching for...I experienced two strokes in six days resulting in loss of memory, strength, balance, speech and vision. Ray stepped in as master caregiver, store operator and decision maker.

After a week we knew I never return to the retail store. It was a hard decision to make, but the right one, and the time had finally arrived to make it. The retail store will be closing on September 30th. 2010. Between now and then, Ray will be in the store from 11 AM until 1 PM.

October 1, 2010 we will be returning to a 100% mail-order company. All the stock-keeping-units that are currently on the shelves in the store will be available online for easy ordering. Or, you can call or email your orders to us. Read More...
