Eye Makeup Tips for Wearing Glasses from Holly Oyler
by Holly Ralston Oyler
Originally published in Today's Woman Magazine, March 2010 issue

* If you are nearsighted your eyeshadow application will be minimized. You will need to apply a bit more product for your application to show.
* If you are farsighted, your eyeshadow application will be magnified. You will need to apply less product and it is best to use a matte finish.
* The bolder your frame color choice, the more understated your eyeshadow application should be. You want to create balance, not create a battle between the two elements. Also consider using a bolder lipstick color.
* ALWAYS start your blush application at the bottom outside corner of your frame. Never apply blush inside the frame area. Be sure to take your blush up at a 45-degree angle and into the hairline.
* Eyeliner can appear harsh when wearing glasses. Try lining with an eyeshadow pencil or use eyeshadow with a liner brush, for a softer look.
